For applicants who have been admitted into the Scheme before its relaxation, provided that they are eligible for the criteria under the relaxed Scheme【i.e. residents of the four districts; having a personal asset value of no more than $44,000; having a monthly income of no more than $6,500; working for no less than 72 hours a month】 , they are not required to re-submit new applications and are allowed to claim the balance of Job Search Allowance (not exceeding a total of $600) and the balance of On-the-job Transport Allowance (not exceeding a total of $7,200) within the 24-month qualifying period from the launch date of the relaxed Scheme, i.e. 2 July 2008.
